The Porto Stock Exchange Palace. Built in the nineteenth century, this neoclassical building was architecturally inspired by the Alhambra Palace in the Spanish city of Granada. In the foreground is the Estátua do Infante Dom Henrique, the monument to Prince Henry the Navigator, who was responsible for many of Portugal’s early maritime discoveries.
