Talking About China at the Albury-Wodonga U3A

On Friday 12th February 2016 I had the pleasure of returning to the Albury-Wodonga chapter of the University of the Third Age to speak about the 2015 Environment and Sustainability in China Study Tour, a joint venture between La Trobe University and CERES Global.

In my presentation, I discussed the tour itinerary and engagement activities in Shanghai and Beijing, as well as the lessons about sustainable travel that our group learned on the trip. Finally, I touched on some of the broader issues related to our experiences on the trip, including climate change, energy system transition and economic transformation. The talk ended with a spirited question-and-answer session. Thank you to everyone who attended my presentation, your warm reception was greatly appreciated.
