In this lecture in the “Global Environmental Politics in the 21st Century” lecture series, Dr Benjamin Habib evaluates the merits of the nuclear energy sector by exploring the stages of the nuclear fuel cycle and analysing the benefits and risks of nuclear as an energy source across a number of dimensions: energy generation, distribution, cost greenhouse gas footprint, waste disposal, resource inputs, and the politics of nuclear energy.
